Eligible candidates with Engineering Degree or Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical discipline can apply online from 02 September 2026 to 22 September 2026.

- Stage 1: Computer Based Examination (Paper-I - Objective MCQs)
- Stage 2: Computer Based Examination (Paper-II - Objective Technical Test)

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Paper-I (Objective Type MCQs - 200 Marks / 2 Hours):
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- General Awareness: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- General Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical): 100 Questions (100 Marks)
- General Engineering (Opted Subject Civil / Electrical / Mechanical): 100 Questions (300 Marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks for Paper-I & 1 Mark for Paper-II for wrong answers.
How to Fill SSC JE Online Form 2026
- Visit the new official portal of SSC (ssc.gov.in) between 02/09/2026 to 22/09/2026.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if you are registering on the new website for the first time.
- Log in using your Registration Number and Password.
- Navigate to the "Live Examinations" section and click on **SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2026**.
- Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred exam centers.
- Upload live photograph and scanned signature as per prescribed specifications.
- Pay the application fee of ₹100 (if applicable) through online mode.
- Review the form carefully and click Submit. Take a printout of the final application form.
